What's it like to volunteer?
GOMPS relies on on its devoted volunteers to keep the nursery up and running.
Nursery activities vary seasonally and include planting acorns, re-potting seedlings into larger pots, and weeding, mulching, and fertilizing seedlings as needed. Training, gloves, tools and refreshments are provided.

Weather appropriate clothing and good work boots are recommended - don't forget sun protection!
For convenience, there is now a proper toilet (porta-potty type) on the premises.
How do you apply to volunteer?
We'd love to hear from all interested volunteers ages 14+.
We ask that all new volunteers fill out a Volunteer Application Form. If you are under 19 years old, we also require an Informed Consent for Minors form filled out by a parent or guardian. We also have an optional Photo / Video Release Form if you'd like to appear in promotional materials for GOMPS (e.g. in the photo gallery on this website).
